Your Support Can Change Lives
There is no one size fits all approach to how you and the company you work for can get involved with fundraising for The Nightingale. We want any involvement to suit you and will work with you to discover what works best. Whether as an individual or part of a team you can make a huge difference to our work by fundraising with your work. We appreciate any way you and your company can get involved in fundraising for us.

Fundraising…
It’s all in the name. If you’re considering company wide fundraisers or ways to encourage staff to get involved, there’s no better way than doing something fun. Research conducted by national fundraising tool Enthuse found that 41%* of people are more likely to participate and fundraise for charity if there is a ‘fun’ element. Here are a few fun ideas
Competitions – Host a company-wide raffle, auction or lottery where staff can buy and sell tickets
Bake Off – See if your staff can impress Paul Hollywood with their baking skill, with a delicious bake sale
Quiz Night – Have staff form teams and go head to head against each other. The great thing about a quiz night is it can be done in person or via Zoom!
Dress Down Day – Just like in school, pay £1 to dress down!

Curwens did their very own Bake Off Cinnamon challenge and then had a bake sale in aid of The Nightingale. Everyone took part and our team was Paul Hollywood for the day and decided the winner.
Anne Stennet, Private Client Solicitor at Curwens, also wrote an informative article on Will Legacies and what the benefits are. Read more here.

The Wonder know how to throw party! Everyone in the community turns out and always have a great time. For their Summer Party, they invited The Nightingale to have a stall on the day, and raised money for the charity.
We offered party-goers a chance to Play Your Cards Right, which was a massive hit, but it also allowed us to tell more people about what we do, if they would ever need our services.
The event raised £254 and The Wonder has since kept a Nightingale can on their bar for loose change collection.

We’re raising a pint to Molly’s Bar in Arnos Grove. They’ve raised £700 by holding Christmas and Valentine’s raffles throughout the year. They might be small but their support (and their customers) are mighty in their support for us.
