We don’t do it alone
There are so many organisations that help us help you. We work closely with many other charities that offer advice and services so that all of our clients are fully supported. If you are looking for extra support, have a look below to see who we work with and highly recommend. If you don’t see a service you’re in need of you can give us a call and we’ll try and find a reliable support service.

Look Good Feel Better is a National Cancer Charity.
We know how challenging it can be to process a cancer diagnosis and manage the physical and emotional side-effects of cancer treatment. This is why we run free workshops both virtually and at Cancer Care Centres and Hospitals across the UK to support women, men and young adults through this time.
Our workshops are led by trained volunteers in the beauty industry and provide practical advice about changes to skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, hair, nails and body confidence. Volunteers in the health industry also lead our well-being focused workshops covering meditation, breathwork and gentle exercise to help reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety.
The best thing about them? Every single one offers an invaluable opportunity to meet others going through a similar situation.

Shopping for bras and swimwear after a mastectomy or breast surgery can seem like a daunting experience – but it doesn’t need to be. Our collection of pocketed bras are supportive, comfortable and feminine. If you are new to Nicola Jane, use our fitting guides or speak to a member of our team and will help you to choose your first post-surgery bra.
We carry a comprehensive range of bras, swimwear and breast forms for women who have had a mastectomy, lumpectomy or reconstructive surgery. Using our expertise we are dedicated to creating and sourcing products and providing services that support women with specialist breast care needs.

HeadWrappers is a hair loss advisory service, focusing on alternatives to wigs and practical tips. Our aim is to help people look good and feel more confident about themselves as they undergo cancer treatments which may cause hair loss.
HeadWrappers offer face to face sessions on a quarterly basis here at The Nightingale Centre, but also offer regular online sessions and face to face sessions throughout the UK. Before the session, the client is asked to fill in a registration form, then the goodie bags are prepared, either to bring along to the venue, or to put in the post . The bag consists of a square cotton scarf and various items of headwear.
At a session, you can expect to learn various ways of tying the large scarf and about scalp care, before, during and after hair loss and receive advice about headwear and alternatives to wigs.

We work with children from as young as 2 along with both men and women. Our devoted hair loss specialists focus on hair loss caused by chemotherapy treatment as well as alopecia and thinning hair. Hair to Ware is privileged to support and work alongside the Little Princess Trust™. We are also proud to hold the National NHS framework agreement which enables us to supply, fit and maintain wigs to all local trusts.
Our professionals provide a consultancy service with a large range of exceptional hair systems for you to choose from, followed by a complementary cut-and-style all conducted in one of our many private consultation rooms.

Imagine a beauty routine that feeds your skin with nature’s most nutritious ingredients, delivers visible clinical results, protects the planet, and funds good causes. Wouldn’t that be magical? Actually, it’d be Tropic.
We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing beauty companies, reshaping the industry with multi-award-winning products that are both ethical and effective.
Fusing wild tropical botanicals with cutting-edge science – no artificial preservatives or toxins in sight – our vegan products are freshly made to unlock your healthiest glow yet.

The atmosphere at Hudson & Kemp is relaxed and welcoming and we have a wealth of hairdressing experience.
One of the services we offer is being a ‘My New Hair’ salon, a charity founded by Trevor Sorbie MBE, which provides advice and support for people suffering from cancer and medical hair loss.
Alex has been trained by Trevor and his team, she has knowledge of how hair is affected by medical treatment and the stages hair goes through during recovery.
If you feel you would benefit from advice on your hair journey due to cancer treatment please ring the salon, mention My New Hair and Alex will return your call with the offer of free advice over the phone or book you a free in salon consultation to discuss your hair needs/concerns which could range from advice on hair loss, wig cutting /styling or how to bring out the best in your new hair growth.
Your hair may be different after cancer treatment but with the correct advice and care it can still be fabulous.
